Garden Grove is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Garden Grove follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The fried rice was awesome! My wife ordered three plates of sticky rice with mango, but one of the mangoes was bitter. I kindly asked the waitress if it was possible to get a replacement. She replied that they couldn’t because mango season is over, and she wasn’t sure if they had any sweeter mangoes left. That was very poor customer service. So, overall, my experience was as bittersweet as the mango itself.

I ordered the green curry and pad Kee mao. Green curry $14: it had a LOT of oil. And the oil and coconut milk(?) have separated a lot. Bamboo shoots are canned but still taste good. It's too oily for me to enjoy fully. Pad Kee mao $13: kinda bland and not spicy enough even though I got the spiciest level. I think it needs more soy/oyster sauce as well. Service was good and very chill at 12pm on Friday.

We stumbled upon Krua Siam while attending a nearby conference, and it turned out to be a fantastic find. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Saturday and were only the second table seated, which made for a relaxed, unhurried start to the evening. There’s also a large parking lot, which made things easy right from the start. The food felt genuinely authentic—very comparable to what we experienced in Thailand. We ordered the som tum Thai, which had that perfect balance of funky, nutty flavors, and the medium spice level was just right. The tom yum kung, which we ordered Thai hot, ended up being closer in heat to the medium papaya salad, but it more than made up for it with depth of flavor. You could really taste the galangal, lemongrass, and lime leaves, and it came loaded with plenty of shrimp. The boat noodles were a big hit with our daughter. The broth was incredibly flavorful yet mild enough for our 5-year-old to enjoy. The only small drawback was that the beef was a bit tough, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall dish. We wrapped things up with the mango sticky rice, which was absolutely *chef’s kiss*—a perfect dessert to share as a family. Overall, the meal came out

Solid 3 star. The service was good and the prices were fair. The rice on the green curry dish was a bit hard. The other dishes were okay. Overall it's a decent place.

Krua Siam – Garden Grove Krua Siam is executing at a high level across the board. The space is clean, bright, and thoughtfully laid out—no clutter, no noise, no gimmicks. Operations feel tight the moment you walk in. The hostess sets the tone immediately: genuinely friendly, welcoming, and on point. Service is efficient without being rushed, which tells you management has their systems dialed in. Now the food—this is where they separate themselves from the pack. Five-star performance, no question. Every dish delivers an explosion of flavors: bold, layered, and balanced. You can taste the freshness, the technique, and the respect for traditional Thai cooking. From appetizers to mains, nothing feels watered down or generic. This is Thai food done right. Bottom line: Krua Siam is not just another Thai restaurant—it’s a well-run operation delivering premium flavor with consistency. If you’re in Garden Grove and serious about food, this is a must-stop. Highly recommended.
